Tuesday. The first half of the year has eight days left in it, and nobody has told me whether Brisbane has its lab yet. Nobody tells me anything. I live in a storeroom.
What I was told, last year, was Brisbane, the city centre, the first half of this year. Not a street. Not a day. If the lab has opened by the time you read this, the street, the times and the prices will be on the Escape This booking pages, which are better informed than I am.
What I assume, as a scientist, is that Queensland will get the same lab: two to four survivors, nobody under fifteen, one chamber and one Gerald. But an assumption is not a result, and nobody has sent me the Brisbane rules to check.
In the meantime, I have packed. Lab coat, kettle, three hundred packets of biscuits and a small fan for Gerald, who will not use it, but who should know that somebody thought of him.
If you are in Queensland and cannot wait, the other labs are open. Gerald is pacing in all of them.
